We review privacy tools for a living, so we hold ourselves to the standard we score others against: collect the minimum, keep it yours, delete it when you ask.

Who we are
ProxyAxis is an independent review site for proxies, VPNs and antidetect browsers. This policy covers the data handled by proxyaxis.com — what happens on a provider’s site after you click through to them is governed by their policy, not ours.
The data we collect, and why

Everything above is collected only when you use the feature it powers. Browsing the site anonymously requires no account and creates no profile.
Tool history is private to you
If you use tools like the IP lookup while signed in, your history is saved to your account so you can revisit it. It is visible only to you, never published, and you can delete individual entries or the whole history at any time from your account.
Cookies & local storage
We set essential cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and use local storage for preferences — theme, dismissed banners, recent searches, wishlist and comparison state. None of it tracks you across other sites. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set its own cookies for commission attribution; that exchange happens on their domain under their policy, as described in our affiliate disclosure.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides and reviews are useful — page views, referrers, and rough geography. We don’t build individual behavioural profiles, and we don’t share analytics data with advertisers.
Where your data lives
Site data — accounts, reviews, saved activity — is stored with our database and authentication provider (Supabase) in access-controlled infrastructure. Row-level security restricts private data (like tool history and unpublished submissions) to your own account; passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
Sharing
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only when a feature requires it (e.g., your display name appears on a published review), with infrastructure providers processing it on our behalf, or if the law compels us.
Your rights & deleting your data
You can access and edit your profile from your account, delete saved history yourself, and request full account deletion — we remove your personal data, and published reviews are either deleted or anonymised. For any data request, contact us and we’ll act on it promptly.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially, we update the date at the top and, where the change affects account holders, flag it on the site. The current version always lives at this URL.
